Clearing the beaches

The rangers have been busy clearing a beach that you probably didn’t realise existed. Overgrown with Goat Willow the beach is seeing daylight for the first time in about 15 years. Clearing the beach lets more light though to the assualt course and creates a waterside space for dog walkers, who are prohibited from entering the main beach area.

Please pass on my regards to the team at the Lido on the splendid work that they have done, opening up the far side next to the beach,in my opinion it has much improved the walk around the lake and makes it a safer area, it has been finished off well with a beautiful fence that looks very natural.
Is this good work going to be continued farther along the lake so we can see more of the train when looking across from the opposite bank?
My thanks once again for all the hard work keeping the Lido Tip-Top.
Regards Jack

Thanks for your feedback, the rangers appreciate your compliments.

There are no plans to extend the clearing any further round the Lido.
