Help for Heroes Lido Lap

Help for HeroesFORL will be litter picking before the “Help for Heroes Lido Lap” event on Sunday 6th September from 9am. Come along and join us to help make the Lido look spick and span for this special day.

We are also running a stall on the day to raise funds for the Help for Heroes charity and are in need of volunteers to help man the stall between 12-6pm, please use the contact form to let us know if you can spare 30mins or an hour of your time. To raise funds we have a prize of a 4.5 litre bottle of Famous Grouse Whisky with optic which was very generously donated to us for this cause.

We look forward to seeing you, if you’re there to help, completing your laps or just to have fun.

I am not sure if this comment comes in the right section. To scratch two itches, would it not be possible to have just one boat named Help for Heroes and hourly have a cruise around the water under proper supervision. The fee charged could go into the pot for the heroes. Just a thought.

This offer has gone out to Hillingdon Athletic club near the lido.
If anyone from HAC would like to join me at 9am to pick up litter with the Friends of Ruislip Lido. I will cook them breakfast of (Eggs Bennet)(Like eggs Benedict but it is what it is) when we return to the club house.
Or you could go back to the club house do your 10am run and then have breakfast after your shower. Please let me know if you would join so I can get the food in.
If any Friends would also like breakfast or even a run let me know and I will include you.
